Warrington Holds Off Martinez In Leeds – This past Saturday night in Leeds saw WBC international featherweight champion Josh Warrington go to 25-0 as he won a narrow majority decision victory over Spain’s Kiko Martinez. One judge called the fight a 114-114 draw and Martinez was visibly dejected after hearing the final decision announced. For Martinez, a former world champion at super bantamweight, this may have been his last hurrah as far as big fights are concerned, while Warrington will be looking for bigger fights and bigger money in short order.
