Uchiyama vs Corrales 2 First Look With Kid Hersh – The first meeting between the two men yielded a 2016 “Upset of the Year” candidate and this Saturday, December 31st in Tokyo, Japan Takashi Uchiyama and Jezreel Corrales  meet for the second time with the WBA’s “Super World” super featherweight title on the line.

This time the tables are turned, as Uchiyama, who held the belt for more than six years enters the fight as the challenger. Last April 27th, Corrales faced Uchiyama as a heavy underdog, but need less than two rounds to dispense with the long time champion and go home with the “Super World” title. For Corrales, the return match with Uchiyama marks his first title defense.

In this latest TBC video, we are joined by analyst Kid Hersh to take a closer look at what can be expected in this Saturday’s rematch. Uchiyama is 37 years old, but for the last half decade he has been heralded as one of the top five pound for pound fighters on the planet and he deserves a rematch. For his part, Corrales is still just 25-years-old and though he has a low KO ratio over his 20-1 professional career, he has grown into his power as he has stopped his last six opponents going back to 2014.
