Truax Upsets DeGale Grabs IBF World Title – Veteran super middleweight Caleb Truax traveled to England to face IBF world champion James DeGale  and Truax is coming home with the gold. The fight was the main event of Frank Warren’s card at the Copper Box Arena and the bill was advertised as DeGale’s return. The former Olympic gold medalist was making his return to the U.K. for his fourth title defense. DeGale entered a major favorite but a huge round five on the part of Truax appeared to take the stream out of DeGale.

The co-feature saw IBF Featherweight champion Lee Selby successfully defend his title for the fifth time as he won a wide UD victory over Mexico’s Eduardo Ramirez.
