This is no surprise to me. Garcia looked bad in his last fight against the awkward Mauricio Herrera and is looking to get the momentum back. Bracero is tough and has some skill but lacks any kind of punch and can't come close to matching Garcia in talent.

Its a smart move I think by Garcia's management. Bracero who sell tickets at the Barclays but really shouldn't pose much of a threat. Bracero will come to fight and will try to pressure Garcia. But by doing so will play right into Garcia's hands and leave plenty of opportunities for Garcia to land himself. This should serve as a good showcase for Garcia into bigger things down the line and a good confidence building fight as well.

As a fan, is this the fight I want to see? No, as I really don't think Bracero has much a chance. But we are probably going to get it and hope that afterwards we see Garcia in some bigger fights (probably at Welterweight) in the not so distant future.
