This coming Saturday, March 26th Oakland, California's Oracle Arena hosts a high-level Light Heavyweight tussle between undefeated fighters Andre Ward and Sullivan Barrera.
The match is set to air on HBO and it is highly anticipated because the match signals both Ward's return from inactivity and his ascension to Light Heavyweight.
Ward enters the fight with a good bit of scrutiny, as the boxing world wants to see him again and they want to know if the layoff has hurt him, and if he bit off more than he can chew moving up in weight as well.
Though Ward, an Olympic Gold Medalist who is 28-0 as a pro has always handled the pressure well, it is bound to be on a whole new level for this upcoming fight.
In contrast, Barrera has little to lose. He is 17-0 an 34 years old, having gotten a late start in the professional ranks while he toiled as an amateur for the Cuban National Team.
Interestingly, most of the sport books have not posted a line for this fight. With March 26th less than 2 weeks away and the bout set to air on HBO, that is unusual. Lines are sure to pop up later but the sheer number of x-factors for this one have made the books nervous. That makes for a good match.
In this latest Boxing Channel Odds Review, we look at some of what it would take for each fighter to go home with the victory.
