Spain Sees British Invasion in 2018 – Spain has long been a retreat for British fighters and as 2018 rings in, both Billy Joe Saunders and Tyson Fury can be found putting in the work in the land of bullfighting.
Saunders, the WBO world middleweight champion is coming off a scintillating performance against David Lemieux this past December in Canada so it is interesting to see that the champion is back in the gym to start the year.
Also in Spain with Saunders is former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury as he prepares to embark on a return in 2018. We have not seen Fury fight since he dethroned Wladimir Klitschko back in 2015. Since then, the big man has been on an odyssey of his own but he has vowed to ascend to the top of the heavyweight division again. His apparent target: WBA and IBF world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
