Smith vs Braehmer WBSS Super Middleweight Semifinal. This Saturday night, February 24th, the Arena Nürnberger Versicherung in Nuremberg, Germany will host the final WBSS super middleweight semifinal. Callum Smith (23-0-0) faces 39-year-old Juergen Braehmer (49-3-0). The 27-year-old Smith advanced in the competition with a comfortable unanimous decision victory over Erik Skoglund last September. Braehmer did the same thing to Rob Brant.

The winner of this match will fight WBA world super middleweight champion George Groves who had an impressive victory over Chris Eubank Jr. in the Manchester Arena. The WBSS final is scheduled take place in June, but it is necessary to mention that Groves left the building with a suspected separated shoulder after defeating Eubank and this predicament could prevent him from appearing in the final.
