Kovalev came out to make a statement as he was coming off two losses in a row to Andre Ward and he appears to have done so. IBF world champion Dmitry Bivol was in attendance, and he may be slated to face Sullivan Barrera next. Barrera scored an entertaining win against Edwin Valera in another light heavyweight co-feature.
