Rungvisai vs Gonzalez 2 Gets the Lotierzo Breakdown – Thailand’s Srisaket Sor Rungvisai successfully defended his WBC world 115-pound title at the StubHub Center this past Saturday night. It was the champion’s first title defense and he was facing Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez, the well-respected former champion and former #1 pound for pound fighter in the world, so he entered the fight as an underdog. Last March when he took the belt from Gonzalez via majority decision it put him on the map, but few thought Rungvisai could pull off the repeat in the rematch.

As we saw on HBO this past Saturday night, Rungvisai not only did it again, he improved on his performance. In this latest TBC report our veteran analyst Frank Lotierzo looks back at the Rungvisai vs Gonzalez 2 fight from this past Saturday night.
