Ray Flores Talks Demetrius Andrade – Former WBO world super welterweight champion Demetrius Andrade added the WBA world title earlier today in Germany when he won a split decision win over a game Jack Culcay to emerge with the belt.

Andrade, who represented the United States in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, was a major favorite heading into the fight with Culcay. Though he emerged with the “W’ and the title it was not the highlight reel performance that he was hoping for after a few years  of limited activity.

Andrade now returns to the United States with the WBA world title which will give him a target on his back. The 154-pound weight class is packed with talent and Andrade just staked a claim for himself near the top of the weight class.
