Parker captured the vacant WBO world title last December when he won a UD victory over American Andy Ruiz Jr. Parker moves to 23-0, having little trouble staying one step ahead of Cojanu throughout the fight. Cojanu was ranked #14 by the WBO sanctioning body and he stepped in on short notice
