Ortiz vs Scott Odds Review – Eddie Hearn and his Matchroom Boxing are in Monte Carlo this Saturday, November 12th, with a much-anticipated card that will see the main events air on SKY TV in the United Kingdom and HBO in the United States.
The main attraction is undefeated Cuban heavyweight Luis Ortiz (25-0) taking on Malik Scott (38-2-1) in a 10 round bout for the vacant WBA Inter-Continental heavyweight title. Ortiz recently made the news when he negotiated a departure from California-based promoter Golden Boy to sign with Hearn and Matchroom.
The main bout is supported by two world title fights. WBA super featherweight champion Jason Sosa (19-1-4) travels to defend his belt against Stephen Smith (24-2). The second world title bout sees Jamie McDonnell (28-2-1) defend his WBA bantamweight belt against Venezuela’s Liborio Solis (25-4-1).
The card also counts on the presence of popular British veteran Martin Murray (33-4-1) who is taking on Dmitrii Chudinov (19-1-2). Chudinov is a late replacement, as Murray was originally scheduled to face former two weight class world champion Arthur Abraham (45-5), but Abraham pulled out due to an injury.
