Mikey Garcia Defeats Sergey Lipinets By UD – Saturday, March 10th, The Premier Boxing Champions and Showtime Boxing were at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas, with another night of fights. Unbeaten world champion Mikey Garcia (38-0-0, 30 KOs) faced Russia’s Sergey “Samurai” Lipinets (13-1, 10 KOs) with the IBF world super lightweight title on the line.

Garcia defeated Lipinets by unanimous decision (117-110, 117-110, 116-111), but the fight wasn’t that easy for Garcia and a lot of credit must be given to Lipinets for hanging tough and taking the fight to Mikey to make it a fairly close fight. But at the end Garcia won the belt and became a four-division champion, joining future Hall of Famers Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez as the only fighters to capture titles at 126, 130, 135 and 140 pounds.

In the co-main, Kiryl Relikh (22-2-0, 19 KOs) defeated Rances Barthelemy (26-1-0, 13 KOs) by unanimous decision (118-109, 118-109, 117-110) to capture WBA junior welterweight title.
