Former interim champion Mike Alvarado (34-2, 23 KOs) will be facing four-division world champion and Mexican icon Juan Manuel Marquez in a 12-round World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title elimination bout on Saturday, May 17 at The Forum in Inglewood, California.

The Márquez-Alvarado welterweight rumble will be televised live on HBO World Championship Boxing®, beginning at 10:15 p.m. ET/PT.  The winner will challenge the victor of the upcoming WBO welterweight championship rematch between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley, Jr.

I dunno about you but mile high looked like he hit a record low after that fight. I don't believe what he says about not being focused and looking past Provodnikov.. There was none of that going on and he knows it!
Shame how after that mauling he got a bigger fight than his previous one. If he beats Marquez, he'll get finished by Pacquiao.. I see a Rios Alvarado III coming up… (yawn)

That body shot at 1:17 was beautiful… I could watch the Mansi Mauler fight all day and night..
