Matthew Macklin Talks To TBC in NYC – British boxer Matthew Macklin appears to be settling into his retirement quite nicely. We last saw Macklin in the ring in April of last year when he defeated rival Brian Rose by majority decision. Mack The Knife went out on a four fight winning streak and ended his career with a fine 35-6 overall record. Internationally Macklin is remembered for his valiant three attempts at a world middleweight title.

Macklin has since moved over to the business side of boxing where his MTK Global management company has over 100 fighters currently on it’s roster. This past weekend found Matthew Macklin in New York City where he was supporting recent signee Michael Conlan as the Irish fighter made his professional boxing debut in New York City on Saint Patrick’s Day weekend.
