Lotierzo Talks Errol Spence Jr and the Welterweight Division – This past Saturday night, May 27th, saw Texan Errol Spence Jr hold his coming-out party in Sheffield, England, as he won the IBF world welterweight championship from Kell Brook with a decisive 11th round stoppage victory. The match moved the undefeated Spence Jr’s record to 22-0 as he captures a world title for the first time in his young career.
Spence Jr was a decorated amateur who represented the USA at the 2012 Olympic games. Spence Jr entered the fight a 2 to 1 favorite because his reputation among boxing people in general was top shelf all the way. Last Saturday he lived up to the hype.
