Lotierzo Talks Broner vs Granados – This Saturday night sees Showtime Boxing at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati, Ohio for an eight fight boxing card headlined by high level action in the welterweight division.
The featured bout sees Cincinnati native Adrien Broner (32-2) return to take on the challenge of Chicago’s Adrian Granados (18-4-2). Broner, a former four weight class world titleholder, is looking to get 2017 started off on the right foot after a 2016 that saw him fight just once amid a myriad of legal problems. In Granados, the Cincinnati fighter Broner will be taking on an athlete who is also looking to be more active after fighting just once in 2016 as well. Granados is riding a five fight winning streak after logging two losses in a row in 2014-2015.
The card also counts on the presence of WBA world welterweight champion David Avanesyan (22-1-1) as he defends his belt against veteran former champion Lamont Peterson (34-3-1).
