Lotierzo Monday Morning QB Deontay Wilder – This past weekend the boxing world was treated to the latest WBC world heavyweight title defense of Deontay Wilder, who moved to 38-0 with 37 knock outs after he stopped Gerald Washington (18-0-1) in the fifth round of their fight at Birmingham’s Legacy Arena this past Saturday.
Wilder is one of several “world champions” that are jockeying for position in boxing’s glamour division and a match-up with IBF world titlist Anthony Joshua of England is commonly viewed as the most lucrative fight out there for Wilder. In the aftermath of last Saturday’s fight, the outspoken Wilder talked about meeting the winner of the forthcoming Joseph Parker vs Hughie Fury match set for April for the WBO world heavyweight title.
