Lotierzo Looks At Today’s 140 Weight Class – March of 2018 has been a amazing month for the 140-pound super lightweight division. Terence Crawford was the absolute king of this weight class, but he moved up to welterweight, leaving his world titles vacant. Naturally, top contenders saw the opportunity to fight for those belts.
On Friday March 9th, undefeated Regis “Rougarou” Prograis (21-0-0, 18 KOs) defeated Julius “Blue Machine” Indongo (22-2-0, 11 KOs) for the interim WBC World Super Lightweight Title.
Also, on March 10th at the Freeman Coliseum, San Antonio, Texas, Showtime Boxing presented the unbeaten world champion Mikey Garcia (38-0-0, 30 KOs) versus Russia’s Sergey Lipinets (13-1-0, 10 KOs) for the IBF super lightweight championship.
On this segment Frank Lotierzo takes a closer look at the 140 pounders after this big month they just had.
