Looking At The Odds For Crawford vs Diaz – In a few short hours top P4P boxer Terence Crawford will take to the ring at Madison Square Garden in defense of his WBC and WBO world titles at super lightweight. His challenger comes in the shape of Felix Diaz of the Dominican Republic and it is rare that a fighter as decorated as Diaz comes in as such as a huge underdog, but that is the case in this fight.
Diaz is a 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist and he is 19-1 as a pro. His lone setback came against veteran Lamont Peterson via a narrow majority decision and many observers felt that the judges got that fight wrong. A stocky southpaw with an unorthodox delivery, Diaz has operated at an elite level for most of his adult life.
But many boxing insiders use the word “special” to describe Crawford and he will be looking to prove that against Diaz later tonight.
