Santa Cruz needs to stop Roman and do so relatively early. Roman is a 6 to 8 round fighter and not bad on the club circuit. But in no way is he close to Santa Cruz's level. In addition, he has no punching power.

I know the two are friends and I hope that Santa Cruz does not hold back because of this. I don't think he will but its possible it could happen. If it does, this fight turns into a glorified sparring session.

Santa Cruz should step on the gas from the opening bell (he already knows what the guy has) and make it a quick night. If he does, this fight goes three rounds max. Lets hope for the fans sake this Santa Cruz does what he needs to and we can get on to the main event. Hopefully too next time out we see Santa Cruz in a much more high profile fight.
