IBF light welterweight champion Lamont Peterson 32-2 (16 KO's) will be facing Edgar Santana 29-4 (20 KO's) as part of Showtime's Tripleheader scheduled for August 9 at Barclays Center.

This card also features Danny Garcia vs. Rod Salka as the main event, and Danny Jacobs vs. Jarrod Fletcher.

Out of all the opponents on this show, Santana has the best chance of having any kind of success. Do I think an upset happens? No, but if anyone is looking for a glimmer of hope on this card for a fight to be remotely competitive this may be the one. Keep in mind, I said glimmer of hope.
