Kovalev vs Ward Wrap up – Light heavyweight titans Sergey Kovalev and Andre Ward clashed this past Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and the fight saw a razor thin 114-113 score come up on all three judges cards in favor of Ward.

We are already hearing calls for a rematch, and also waiting in the wings is a showdown with WBC world light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson for Ward that could potentially be on the table.

Whatever happens, Ward is now 31-0 and owns the WBA, WBO and IBF world lightheavyweight champion belts whereas Sergey Kovalev is without a belt around his waist for the first time since 2013. The fight delivered with compelling action for all twelve rounds, something that is rare in a fight with so much hype.
