Julio Diaz considers retirement after loss to Keith Thurman

Former world champion Julio “The Kidd” Diaz had a rib injured during his fight with Keith Thurman that forced his corner to stop the fight in the third round. Diaz gave credit to Thurman. Diaz showed disappointed with his performance and said it's time to give space to the new talent.

Diaz needs to retire before he gets hurt. Thurman was on the verge of scoring a potentially devastating knockout when the injury occurred from the body shot. Diaz had a solid career but his best days are clearly behind him and he needs to step aside from the sport.
