Undefeated Jose Benavidez Jr. is going after Mauricio Herrera's interim WBA World light welterweight title, December 13 at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Nevada.

This is going to be a good fight.

I like Herrera here as I think he is just too awkward and skilled for the greener Benavidez. But Benavidez has talent and could certainly rise his game.

This is also a very good fight for Benavidez to take. Win or lose, he will learn a lot and gain a lot of valuable experience. His career will be better off in the long term for taking this fight and challenge even with a loss.

This is a sleeper fight that could produce some very good action and be very intriguing to watch.
