Hamadouche Decisions Salinas – The second week of November represents a big weekend for boxing in the women’s ranks as four major world titles are on the line around the world.

The lineup got started in Paris on Thursday, November 10th as Maiva Hamadouche (13-1) faced Jennifer Salinas (19-3) for the vacant IBF world female super featherweight title. Salinas traveled all the way from her home country of Bolivia with a fine record and a lot of pride, but in the end Hamadouche was fighting on her home turf and the fight went her way on the judges cards by scores of 97-93, 97-93, 98-92. Salinas was making a bid to become the first boxing world champion from the country of Bolivia. Hamadouche now owns a major world title after failing in her first bid. Back in November of 2015, she lost to Delfine Persoon with the WBC lightweight belt on the line. Persoon fights on Friday, November 11th in Belgium.
