Undefeated Gary Russell Jr. will face Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko for the WBO World Featherweight Title, in the show opener to Guerrero vs. Kamegai scheduled for Saturday, June 21.

“I think my hand speed will definitely be a big factor. I understand you could probably bring guys in to kind of mimic my style, but if they have the hand speed they don't have the punching ability, and if they have my punching ability they don't have my hand speed.” said Russell

The kid has confidence, or crazy ¢o©k¡ne$$. And I think that it is the latter. Dude loves to blatter. But on Saturday night, it will no longer matter. He will be the catcher, and not the batter.

G-Russ Junebug's O will go. And he will be revealed as slow-mo by V-Lo. Hehe! Holla!

Smooth words as ever Radam.

The guy sure is full of himself isn't he? He has the potential to put up a good fight though, and make for a thoroughly entertaining bout. There sure will be a lot of sore Yanks when this kid goes down, and he'll be the sorest of them all!

Well one must be sure of themselves before battle or their weakness will be picked up immediately by their opponent. It is a fair point though Radam, is he assured in his own strength and skill or is it cockiness that is playing on his mind.

He genuinely believes in his speed and good for him, I hope he comes out with a sweat on ready to pump 3 and 4 punches at Lomachenko. Who knows if it's fast and accurate enough Lomachenko may revert back to the defence that helped him dominate the amateurs for so long. If he does that then Gary will surely be able to get inside and rough him up although I don't fancy him in that position.

I hope he doesn't hang in the middle of his combo's either, his opponents haven't been skilled enough to capitalise on that yet but Lomachenko surely has the talent and intelligence to catch on after a few times..

He will be revealed as slow-mo by V-Lo. Love it! Are you thinking of these while sitting on those sun-drenched beaches?
