Garcia vs Vargas Nov 12 Odds Review – The Premier Boxing Champions are in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for a full night of fights at the Liacouras Center that sees the main events air on Spike TV. Check your local listings for start times.
The main event sees WBC world welterweight champion Danny Garcia (32-0) in a non-title match against Samuel Vargas (25-2-1).
The two supporting bouts feature PBC prospects looking to become contenders as November 2016 “Prospect of the Month” Jarrett Hurd (18-0) faces his most experienced opponent to date when he fights Ionut “Jojo” Dan Ion (35-3) and undefeated lightweight Omar Douglas (17-0) faces former super featherweight world champion Javier Fortuna (30-1-1).
Garcia is booked for a title unification match on March 4th of next year against WBA world welterweight champion Keith Thurman. Garcia last fought in January of this year when he defeated Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero and this non-title bout with Vargas will give him a second fight in the 2016 calendar year and avoid a 14 month inactive spell heading into the Thurman fight.
