The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV will be the venue for the much anticipated WBC welterweight title bout between Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Robert Guerrero that will take place on May 4.

Floyd “Money Pretty Boy” Mayweather, Jr. has a perfect and undefeated career record of 43 wins out of 43 bouts with the Boxing odds and has 26 knockout wins in that span. The 36 year old Mayweather, Jr. stands at 5 feet 8 inches tall and has a reach of 72 inches and fights out of an orthodox stance. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI but now lives in Las Vegas, NV. Miguel Cotto was the latest victim to Mayweather, Jr.’s perfection as “Money” scored a 12 round unanimous decision win on May 5, 2012 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for the WBA super world light middleweight title; prior to that he scored a 4th round knockout win in a scheduled 12 round bout over Victor Ortiz for the WBC welterweight title on September 17, 2011 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

The 30 year old Guerrero was born in Gilroy, CA where he still resides. He stands at 5 feet 8 inches tall and has a reach of 70 inches. Guerrero last fought on November 24, 2012 when he scored a 12 round unanimous decision win over Andre Berto at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, CA for the interim WBC welterweight title. Prior to that he scored a 12 round unanimous decision win over Selcuk Aydin on July 28, 2012 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA for the interim WBC welterweight title.
