Frank Lotierzo Talks Heavyweight Action

Frank Lotierzo Talks Heavyweight Action – Two of the three fights featured on the Premier Boxing Champions on FOX broadcast Saturday night came in the heavyweight division and the result was a pair of compelling fights.

WBC world champion Deontay Wilder was a heavy favorite entering his fight with late replacement Gerald Washington but the  undefeated Wilder looked  human in the early going while Washington fought a composed fight. Wilder changed everything with one punch in the fifth round but the fight may have served to leave more questions about Wilder than it answered.

Former Olympian Dominic Breazeale was back to face undefeated Izuagbe Ugonoh in the evening’s opening heavyweight bout. It did not take long for the two men to be throwing bombs and Breazeale seemed to be getting the best of it by the end of the third round. The fourth round saw Ugonoh come back with his best round of the fight only to see Breazeale end the fight in the following round.
