Frank Lotierzo Scores Linares vs Crolla 2 – Saturday night in Manchester saw Venezuela’s Jorge Linares move his record to an impressive 42-3 with a wide unanimous decision over Anthony Crolla in defense of his WBA world lightweight title.

For Linares, it was his second time defeating the game Crolla. Linares first went to Manchester last September when he faced Crolla and won a unanimous decision to come home with the WBA version of the 135-pound world title. The second win was even more emphatic in favor of Linares.

What is next for the new world titlist? Talk of a “superfight” type of match-up with undefeated WBC lightweight champion Mikey Garcia (36-0).
