Ray Flores Last Look at Kovalev vs Shabranskyy – Later on tonight on HBO, Sergey Kovalev faces Vyacheslav Shabranskyy for the WBO world title at light heavyweight. For Kovalev (30-2-1), the fight is the first step back since he went 0-2 against Andre Ward and he is looking to re-establish himself as the dominant 175 pounder in the world today.

In Shabranskyy (19-1), he faces a hard hitting rival who is looking to make the most of his first world title opportunity. Shabranskyy, from the Ukraine, brings an added ethnic twist against the Russian Kovalev, as their rivalry extends itself beyond the ring. Nevertheless, Kovalev will enter the fight a major betting favorite.

In this latest TBC report, our “road warrior” analyst Ray Flores talks about Kovalev’s return and what we may expect to see from him after his set of fights with Ward.
