Born in June 15, 1972 in Mexico, Carlos “Bolillo” Gonzalez  began his pro career in  1988 and was undefeated for four years, he won his first world title in 1992 when he got a TKO victory over Jimmy Paul  and won the WBO Light Welterweight Title. Gonzalez made three successful defenses and then lost the title to Zack Padilla in 1993. He captured the title again in 1998 with a TKO win over Giovanni Paris but lost it in his first defense to Randall Bailey. Carlos Gonzalez retired in 2005.
