Easter Jr Retains, Warren Drops World Titles in Ohio – The Premier Boxing Champions were at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio as they put on a big nine fight boxing card that saw the main events air on Bounce TV in the United States.
Two world champions from Ohio were making title defenses in their home states. Toledo native Robert Easter Jr successfully defended his IBF world lightweight title with a unanimous decisin victory over veteran Luis Cruz, while Cincinnati’s WBA world bantamweight champion Rau’shee Warren saw his title go home with rival Zhanat Zhakiyanov via split decision after twelve hard fought rounds.
