Davis vs Walsh World Title Fight in London Saturday – Floyd Mayweather Jr will be in London this Saturday night as Gervonta Davis defends his IBF super featherweight world title against the challenge of Britain’s Liam Walsh.

Davis won his world title back in January of this year with a standout performance against Jose Pedraza that saw him end the former champion’s night in the seventh round. A signal that the 22-year-old Davis may be something special is the fact that Mayweather Jr has taken him under his wing personally. There are a lot of fighters on “The Money Team,” not all of them get to have Floyd in their personal entourage.

Unimpressed by all that is Liam Walsh, who is fighting at home and has come up through the rugged British system. At 21-0 a world title shot is next in his natural progression as a fighter, and Gervonta Davis is in his way.

The match sits atop Frank Warren and his Queensberry Promotions scheduled fifteen fight boxing card that sees the main events air on BT Sport. The Davis vs Walsh main event is also set to air on Showtime.
