D. Jacobs is just a nice guy. Seriously. I have never seen him not smiling. If he got through Chemo/Cancer treatment he is mentally ready for any challenge thrown his way. He will have his hand raised on Saturday night for sure.

Danny Jacobs spent over a month in training in Easton, PA (Larry Holmes' town) for this fight. He had some top-notch sparring and training. I think we will be seeing a stellar performance from “The Miracle Man.”

This is the one fight on this card I actually am interested in seeing. Its more about Danny Jacobs than anyone else. First, he is an exciting fighter. He is aggressive and though he is usually not looking the KO his naturally aggressive style and power punching leads to a lot of ko's. And since he is aggressive, can be hit and that usually makes for exciting action.

Most importantly, his back story is just incredible. How can anyone not be pulling for him after all that he has overcome? And as deep said, he is genuinely a very nice guy. I hope he scores another impressive victory and gets some bigger opportunities in the near future.

On a side note, I really want to see the fight with him and Quillin. It looks like Quillin will be facing Korobov next. Win or lose, Jacobs-Quillin needs to happen at some point and hopefully sooner rather than later. Its a good fight no matter how you look at it.
