Takashi Uchiyama had held the WBO title at super featherweight since January of 2010 and he was entering his 12th title defense against Panama'e Jezreel Corrales in the main event of Wednesday night's boxing event at the Ota-City gym in Tokyo.

Uchiyama was long the #1 ranked super featherweight in the world by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, however that and his title reign all came to a crashing halt at the hands of Corrales, who polished off Uchiyama in round two.

The card featured three world title fights, and you can check this latest Boxing Channel report for highlights and results.
