Algieri is a solid fighter but I just do not think he is on Provodnikov's level. I think Algieri will start by boxing and maybe have some success early. But I also think the relentless pressure of Provodnikov will eventually get to him. Algieri has a warrior's heart and as Provodnikov keeps coming will try to make a stand. This will play right into Provodnikov's hands and though Algieri may land a few in some exchanges the punches Provodnikov lands will have far more impact. I see Provodnikov getting a pretty spectacular KO victory in this one.

Don't let the cat out the bag.. We can't have Chris trying to box all night long behind his jab. Well actually, he'll put himself to sleep slamming the same shot over and over, until suddenly he's hypnotised himself and gets rocked with a looping right that strikes like thunder from the sky. Algieri better have a jaw of steel and a heart of a lion if he's to survive this one..
