Carl Frampton I Believe I Can Knock Him Out – Carl Frampton has already arrived in Las Vegas as we close in on his January 28th rematch with Leo Santa Cruz. Frampton took the WBA’s “Super World” title at featherweight from Santa Cruz in a thriller of a fight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn this past July 30th. Frampton entered the fight a slight underdog, but he fought a strong fight on the road to come away with a Majority Decision and a world title in a second weight class. The Santa Cruz camp had a rematch clause in the contract and Frampton has been focused on a second duel with Santa Cruz ever since that first victory.
The first bout was a “Fight of the Year” candidate and it helped Frampton earn “Fighter of the Year” honors and many are expecting both men to deliver again. The fight is the main event of Showtime Boxing’s major nine fight boxing card set to air on Showtime in the United States. Check your local listings for start times.
