Light heavyweight Marcus Browne (18-0, 13 KOs) scored a first-round knockdown but the southpaw had to rise after hitting the canvas in the sixth of a tougher than expected eight-round unanimous decision from over 24-year-old Bosnian-born Radivoje Kalajdzic (21-1, 14 KOs) at Barclays Center on Saturday.

A 25-year-old southpaw Staten Island, New York, Browne won, 76-75, and, 76-74 on two cards with the third having it for Kaladzic, 76-74. Brown was victorious at the site of his 10th-round knockout of Francisco Sierra in December, representing his second consecutive stoppage win.

Kalajdzic had scored consecutive first-round knockouts, the last coming against Fabio Garrido in November.
