Brook vs Spence Jr Duel Saturday in Sheffield – The IBF world welterweight title is up for grabs this Saturday as champion Kell Brook defends his belt against unbeaten Errol Spence Jr. outdoors at the football grounds in Sheffield, England.
Brook is returning to the 147 pound weight class after his now famous move to middleweight for a clash with Gennady Golovkin that resulted in his first career loss. Brook won the IBF belt back in August of 2014 when he defeated rugged Shawn Porter to take the belt back home to England with him and he has made three successful title defenses.
In Spence Jr., Brook will be facing a 2012 American Olympian who is making his first attempt at a world title with a perfect 21-0 professional record. Despite not earning a medal and the bad reputation the 2012 U.S. Olympic team has, Spence Jr may be ready to put all that behind him.
