Forgotten about in the career of Brandon Rios was his break through win against Anthony Peterson. Its strange looking back at that fight some four years later. Going into that fight, it was really a pick em bout between two good looking young fighters. Since that fight, Rios has won a belt and gone on to fight in several big headlining bouts. Peterson seemingly fell off the face of the earth and when he has fought (a rare occurrence) it has been stuffed deep on undercards against over matched foes. Maybe that will change now that he is with Al Haymon. It is fascinating though to see what opposite directions the careers of Rios and Peterson went after they faced each other as rising prospects turning into contenders some four years ago.

Anthony Peterson was always overly hyped. And I hate when I'm so Nostradamus of pugilism. But that is what I've been served. Losing — and while full of roids and PEDs — has ruined Anthony. He never had true grit. He was just full of dat syet. And it was not the magic pill. Anthony woulda' done better using the herb “Dill.”

Bam Bam is on the comeback. He's going to get back on the winning track. Come Sabado, back will be his pimp-whuppin'-ur-@$$ Mack. Upside da dome and straight to the bread basket, “La Joya,” he is going to pimp smack. Holla!
