Braehmer Outpoints Brant To Advance in WBSS – The World Boxing Super Series Tournament Quarterfinals are in the books as Juergen Braehmer topped Rob Brant Friday night in Germany.

A renewed Juergen Braehmer showed that at 39 years old he could still manage a high level fight as he took it to Brant from the start. The odds for the fight had come up nearly even as many felt that Braehmer was making a last hurrah after losing his light heavyweight world title last year. The anticipated coming out part for Brant was not to be however as Braehmer won comfortably on the judges cards by scores of 119-109,118-110,116-112.
