Beibut Shumenov loves to pour on the pressure. He is an action fighter from the opening bell. However, B-Hop has seen it all. What can Shumenov possibly bring that B-Hop cannot handle? A third arm to punch with?

We all know that B-Hop cannot fight at this level forever. Maybe this will be the fight where B-Hop finally grows old and gets hammered unmercifully and pounded into retirement. Don't count on it, though.

Look for B-Hop to reach into his overstuffed bag of tricks, play the Alien role once again and win the fight, probably via unanimous decision.

The vulnerability of Hopkins due to such age is the intrigue in itself. I am a HUGE Hopkins fan and the last five years it is the edge of my seat for me because you know just one good shot could end his historic run.

There may be no one else in the history of sports who has gotten so much more out of what they were given. Hopkins overachieved beyond any athlete I can think of.

I agree Commissioner that Hopkins will win. I don't believe in Shumenov for an instance, certainly not against a master of the sweet science, who is in a defiantly tremendous shape. Shumenov should have 2 losses on his record, his unorthodox defence allows him to get hit with relative ease, the fact he loads up his shots so much means someone in the stance of Hopkins coupled with is superior expertise of the sport will see them coming and evade them. Shumenov has a good pair of legs, but go to the body enough and they'll be gone. What you have left is a not so scary Kazakh infront of you who can't fight on the inside.

Hopkins will take the decision, although Shumenov's style has led him to winning fights he should really have lost. A lot of the times his punches don't land cleanly or effectively on his opponent, but behind them comes such force that some judges are persuaded to score the round(s) in his favour. Watch the second fight with Campillo if you haven't already to see what I mean.

Can't wait for BHop to do it again, top calibre practioner with an exemplary knowledge of the sweet science, and an equally notable bank of not-so-legal tricks that will have the Kazakh questioning where he is.
