He is the WBC world champion at 168 pounds, and it was recently announced that Vegas resident Badou Jack would be facing off against James DeGale, the IBF world titleholder, on January 14th of 2017 in a title unification bout set to air on Showtime Boxing.
The match has been approximately a year in the making as both Jack and DeGale appeared on a Showtime card this past April that set up the bout between the two for the September-October, 2016 timeframe.
Though the match was delayed until the new date in January, Showtime is delivering on their promised 168-pound title unification bout.
In this latest Boxing Channel segment our roving cameraman Marcelino Castillo caught up with Badou Jack in the wake of the fight being made official.
