Ray Flores Talks The 2017 Fight of the Year – The April 29th, 2017 heavyweight match-up between Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko is your 2017 “Fight of the Year.” The bout drew a live audience of nearly 90,000 to London’s Wembley Stadium and that alone could serve to put the bout on a short list for the award. But the two men also delivered a dramatic and classic bout that left everyone aware that they had just witnessed something historic.

Klitschko had held the heavyweight titles for roughly ten years and at 40 years old he was returning to try and regain what he had lost in late 2015 to Tyson Fury. Always lauded for his preparation, Klitschko used the year off to overcome nagging injuries and to get himself in top condition. Joshua faced a formidable version of Klitschko last April and he rose to the occasion. As for Klitschko, he went out fighting like a champion is expected to do. Despite his ten year legacy as champion, Klitschko may have actually saved his best performance for that night.

In this latest TBC segment, we are joined by our analyst Ray Flores to talk about Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko, your 2017 “Fight of the Year.”
