Lee was looking like a shopworn fighter in his last fight against John Jackson until he rallied to score a spectacular one punch KO. Was Lee drained by going down to 154 and was he in fact showing signs of being on the down side of his career? I think he was drained and that did impact his performance but I also think that Chavez fight a couple years ago took something out of him.

I like Korobov in this fight but do give Lee a legit punchers chance. Korobov is quicker and has faster hands. He possesses solid ring skills but has been moved very slow. He looked good his last time out and maybe turning the corner on his career. On a skill set and talent side, Korobov has the edge.

But Korobov has a tendency to take long lulls in the ring. He will be having success and then just stop throwing for awhile and allow his opponent to get back into the fight. Korobov has also been hurt badly before and I wonder about his chin. If Lee catches him flush, I could see Lee doing some damage.

I think this will be a better fight than a lot of fans are forecasting. I see Korobov getting off to a fast start and controlling this fight early. But he will go into his lulls and Lee will have his moments. He may even find a way to catch lightening in a bottle. That said, I am going with the more talented fighter here in Korobov by decision in a decent Middleweight bout.
